Since the Gloves are OFF!

We reference our own post just prior to this, "More Facts Your Just Can't Make Up"
It was a difficult decision to make public Mr. Artist's Personal Trouble. The decision was not easy,  however after reading disparaging comments made by  Mr. Woerner & Mr Secreto in both the Kingston Times & The Freeman regarding the personal difficulties of Ms Hendrick, a pending foreclosure, (this information was given to 'Ulsterisyourtowntoo' in a personal interview at a much earlier date and held back with consideration of her family), we felt they have made anything 'fair game'!
We were proud to report earlier that all opponents had conducted themselves with civility, we are just as disappointed that Mr. Woerner & Mr. Secreto have chosen to place personal gain above decency at the expense of a resident who is obviously facing difficult challenges outside of the 'Public Arena'.
We'd really like to know how you feel, all comments will be posted.

  1. Look, I don't care what you say, Woerner has been a real horses ass in this campaign, it's not so much what he has said about the opposition but how he tries to cover his own ass,
Him and Secreto must think we are all dumb as a post, I read where Secreto defended the fund balance, he said it was a lie that there was less than $20K left, that there was more than $1 mil, The truth is that they just bonded for that money, basically it's not the town's IT"S A LOAN STUPID and we the taxpaying residents of the Town OWE IT TO THE BANK. And if that isn't enough, they had to borrow it to keep this years tax levy below another 20% increase. They lost revenue from sales tax, mortgage tax and Aaron's tax deals, and yeah, the town ain't too well off financially, besides they have to spend it on Highway equipment, that was the last fund they drained!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I got a post card from Nicky today with ads similar to his paid for ads in the Freeman last year the weekend before the Comptroller's election. I guess the gloves are off.

Maybe if Nicky had saved himself a couple of grand last year he would have it to use this year.

  3. Hey Rocky,
We in the old neighborhood, were real proud of you when you got elected.
But what the hell happened to you????
Have you forgotten where you come from?
How dare you belittle hard working stiffs in the town, it’s tough enough these days just to make ends meat, keeping a roof over your and your children’s heads ain’t easy!
    Cut the crap!
I remember when you got hurt playing ball, and we covered your ass. Remember that time, we carried you off the ball field and again to work the next day so you could get a Workman’s Comp from Conrail.
Shame on you for throwing around this stuff, I guess you are the thug that people say!
SO ROCK, you and Queen Mary remember us simple folk and lay off the personal stuff just so can get reelected/
PS is Ozzie docked in Queen Mary’s slip?????????????

  4. I don't care one bit about foreclosures, child support or whether or not they cheat on their wives or not, what I care about is credibility, and Rocky, Nicky, Aartist, Aaron, Zweben or Bickert all have one problem, they have NO CHARACTER!
You can't trust ONE WORD if their LIPS ARE MOVING, YOU CANBET THEY"RE LYING! They've forgotten about why they were elected, (except that little Nazi), they have their own agenda, and that is to advance their own concerns, (mainly their wallets & egos), they don't care who they throw under the bus, but the whole town? I don't think that we have to put up with their idea of HONESTY any longer, WE CAN'T AFFORD IT!

  5. Lets stay focused here, the real issue is why did aaron get a tax break in the 1st place all the while knowing it would be at the expence of all the residents of the town.
Ame more importantly why are 90% of the residents at Chambers folks who were never tax paying citizens of the Town of Ulster?
I keep hearing about how Woerner is working for the senior's of the town, will someone please explain how this helps any of us seniors, my taxes have almost doubled in the last 4 years, I'm on a fixed income, how does this help me?

  6. Is Aaron's senior housing complex a tax exempt organization or is it a for profit business? Does his other complexes get similar tax breaks? You certainly can't tell by looking at his website. This is just another shinning example of politicans giving perks to their friends at our expense. Send them all packing and either make him pay full taxes or take it by eminent domain and put it back on the tax rolls. I'll run it and pay full taxes.

  7. I got a letter from NICKY this morning he is resorting to begging whoa is me, the poor boy feels as though he's been slandered, I can tell you from meeting Jim Quigley, not one word was spoken to debase Mr. Woerner, not only that but Woerner insists that they tell lies about him, lets face it he bankrupt the town, we owe over 2 1/2 million dollars plus the 1.3 million from the general fund, that's almost 4 million dollars he cost us in 4 years, we can't afford Nicky and his friends any longer!

  8. He still didn't answer the question. Sure maybe amending the PILOT was legal. But why does the PILOT exist in the first place? Is the Birchez a Not for Profit organization? If they are a for profit why do they have a PILOT? Do other towns give Aaron a PILOT? It may have been legal to give a PILOT but that doesn't mean it was right for the taxpayer, and that is why Nicky will be voted out. The town can give anyone a PILOT, but it doesn't make it right.

Nobody (at least not me) thinks that the Board did something illegal. Their lawyer ain't that dumb. Unethical maybe. Wrong for the taxpayers...absolutely.

Nice try, but you just wasted 44 cents on this house.

  9. Today I received my first piece of mail from W.A.S. Sorry you wasted the postage. I am sorry if you have your feelings hurt Nicky. We feel our pain in our wallets. I have not seen Joel Brink or Eric Kitchen attacked, only the majority. Keep those two fine gentleman out of your SOB story. Slander is untruth. Haven’t heard anything but the truth so far. Numbers don’t lie, politicians do! You are in the majority, you are to blame. If Rocky did not like a topic coming up for vote, he would not show up. No excuses for Rocky, anyone with a heart can run programs for kids, no rocket science there. Craig is as crooked as they come lying about the work he has done for Aaron, just because there is no paper trail doesn’t mean he wasn’t paid and he answers to the same people as you Nicky and you both have too many people you owe favors too. I am going to vote for the number cruncher who will surround himself with people that share the same values as I do, people with integrity, who have not been bought and paid for. It is time for you all to pay the piper. I wish I could be there to see you all fall from the pedestals you put yourselves on. Come on, we are talking dollars and sense, you all spent our dollars without a nickels worth of common sense.

  10. BTW Mr. Quigley campaign... I want some credit for using my WAS slogan. I am the one who posted it here first. It was nice to see it land in my mailbox, very gratifying. I will reveal myself to Mr. Quigley when this is over.

  13. Too bad about Cahill, he works hard and is good legislator. Nicky was just too much for him to overcome.
