did Sue Kesick and Kris Hendricks not win and help Morrow and Quigley get elected. Why are they not mentioned in the above. Sue walked with Quigley everday even though she was unaposed. she was the top vote getter for the second time. Kris worked hard and will be a aset to the Town. Please reright the above to include all of our Towns elected officials. Thank You
ReplyDeleteIt is a shame Cris Hendricks was left out, and, Susan Kessick, who walked miles and miles for the good of the town. I apologize on behalf of the author.
ReplyDeleteNow that W.A.S. has been successfully defeated, just how much damage can they do in 2 months? Is there another project Aaron needs put through? Does Rocky have enough time to disassemble all of the children’s programs in the town? When does Nicky have to give back his lights and sirens? Can Craig assess any more properties? It looks like there are 3 open positions on the police commission, with Nicky, Craig and Rocky off of it do we get to have a real police commission? One that keeps the department in check? Can we get their badges back?
I hate to say it, but, now that W.A.S. is gone, there is a really hard road ahead, for the new Supervisor and the new councilpersons. There is a deficit, we have loans to pay back, we have no money. Our police department is a joke, we need new equipment for the highway department, with winter coming and W.A.S. taking all of the money form it. We have a senior center getting built in a flood plain. (Town hall is also in the flood plain, look it up!)
I do not envy anyone we have elected, how do we fix what is broke? Where will we get the money when we are broke? How do we get our dignity back? I do not expect miracles, but, what I do expect is hard work, hard decisions, accountability and total honesty. We can take the bad if we get the truth. None of us are naïve, we understand what needs to be done. It is going to hurt, but, W.A.S. did it and we will get through it.
Please forgive me Sue & Chris, I don't know what happened, I know you were both included in my original Post, I guess that's what I get for doing it in the dark,
ReplyDeleteA special Congratulations to you both, great candidates and great public servants, you both make the Town of Ulster a better place to live!
Congratulations to all. Good Job!!
ReplyDeleteA special apology to PK, (you know who you are), Sue and Chris were not forgotten, it was a glich, I was too tired when I wrote it and did not proof the post before I posted it, so please PK forgive me it, it took 4 years to make up for helping NW and I'm just living that one down, so please lets not make this another 4 year grudge, OK!
ReplyDeleteCongratualtions to all the winners. Glad to see the bozos on the town board go. But there is one thing that did not come out the way I think it should have. Brian Cahill should have been reelected. He works very hard and he represents Ulster in a fair and balanced way. I am sure we have not heard the last of him. I hope the voters will corect this mistake the next time he runs which I hope is soon.
ReplyDeleteDitto 9:16.
