Golden Hill

After reading some of the comments in the local blogs, there seems to be some questions arising regarding the LDC lined up for the purchase Golden Hill. Exec Hein should be required to disclose this information to the full Legislature, it would help them reach a more informed decision and allow the electorate to express their sentiment in a more valid manner.
One name mentioned is Steve Aaron. Whether or not it is Mr. Aaron, we believe the people of the Town and County of Ulster have a right to know.
Any information which can be documented, ie: FOIL or URL etc. adds credibility to some seemingly outlandish comments circulating the blogisphere.
The facts 'ma'am, just the facts'?
In any event, the question is as follows: Does the potential purchasor of Golden Hill need to be experienced in the Nursing Home Industry? and Is there any Quid Pro Quo involved in the process?
Golden Hill has been part of the fabric of the County's community, it means more to residents on a personal level and if it's sale is predestined, the community should have some input.

  1. I've just researched the local blogs, with the exception of Auerach & Cahill I can't find anything relating to the sale of Golden Hill.
You claim rumors surroud Steve Aaron's involvement (as the LDC), any proof, I would like to know as I would be opposed to anything Aaron does in the Town of Ulster, we've seen this before and as taxpayers are still paying for his greed and deception.
Please shed some light on this topic?

  2. Your Post is too kind, Let's face it when woerner was supervisor, aaron had his run of the town and a hand in the tax basket, he cost the T of U a fortune. I have a relative living in Chambers and she wont say a bad word about him or the rental because she's scared sh*tless, she has told me a number of times what a bully Aaron is, she also knew his mother and was very upset when Steve screwed her.
there is nothing that man wouldn't do for a $!

  3. Regardless of who is involved you can be sure that the deal is already done. Anything from here on out is just for show. Didn't the Freeman report today that the management corporation is already set up and these arrangements were made long before this went public? Not to mention all of the principals involved all work for Hein. The deal is done. Anything else this group does and anyone else appointed is all for show. My advice, get some popcorn.

  4. Done deal or not, the idea that this parasite is still preying on the good people of ulster, (town&county), and now the city of kingston is alarming. Did our elected officials already forget about the Kingston Housing Authority?
With this dwarf enough is tooooooo much! Steve Aaron should be shown up for what he is, a leech and Hein ought to disavow even knowing him. Money & Politics, they go hand in hand, from the hand of the taxpayers to the hands of the politicians to the pockets of their friends and supporters and a penny or two makes it's way back to those it was meant to serve.
Shame on you Mr. Hein, you are either and idiot or a thief, neither is all that valient.

  5. Well all the proof I needed that Hein has already made a deal with Hein came about when Hector Rodriguez, the Legislator from New Paltz would not vote on a Golden Hill resolution because he claimed a conflict of interest with his employer. Who does hector work for???????
STEVIE AARON. Anyone still think the FIX is not in, and that Hein will not be selling out to this bum? A case of shameful selling to shameless.

  6. Carnright should at least investigate all the rumors surrounding the deal between Hein & Aaron regarding Golden Hill, Legislature Rodriguez might be a good place to start, after all he is a Aaron employee and should be privy to some of the innerdealings. From what has been made public, (and that's not all that much), the campaign contribution connection and the GH deal sounds lousy with corruption. Why wasn't GH opened for outside bidding, why was the deal struck in the back rooms where the likes of men like Aaron do the taxpayers the most harm?
I think between Eliott & Holly there should be a full blown investigation and Hein should disclose all his communications ie:emails and meetings with Mr Aaron. If we were dealing with credible men none of this would be necessary, but when you mix a questionable character like Aaron with any local politician it usually means the taxpayer is on the hook.

  7. Carnright investigate Hein? Why do you think Hein is running unchallenged. A deal was made to protect Carnright by the prior County GOP Chairwoman. Why are Hein and Carnright's billboards right across from each other. A coordinated campaign?

  8. I hope someday it all comes out. Hein, Wadnola, Spada, Provenzano, Aaron, Gallo (T.R., not Shayne), Auerbach, Kirschner, Woerner, Ginsberg, Oliveri, Sottile, Postupack, Zweben. They are/were all at the same party. The truth hurts and when it comes out, there will be plenty of pain to be shared.

  9. I read the Freeman article moments ago and still can't figure out where Aaron and the LDC come into the picture. It sounds like Hein is using the board to buffer him from direct involvement in picking the buyer, but from what is going around the county, the hand has already been dealt and Aaron is holding a royal flush. Information Pleazzzzzze!!!!!!

  10. 4:26, Hector Rodriguez recused himself from voting on the GH resolutions citing a potential conflict of interest with his employer, Steve Aaron. There is all the information you need.

  11. Maloney should recuse himself too. I hear his Mother in Law is a resident of Golden Hill. Isn't that a conflict of interest? Oh right, those rules don't apply to Maloney. He is allowed to have conflicts of interest.

  12. Isn't Hector Rodriguez' employment with Aaron similar to Nick Woerner's? There's a serious conflict of interest when someone works for a developer and has inside info due to their elected position.

Carnright should investigate that, but he won't. I know this is right-leaning blog, but it should be obvious to everyone that Carnright won't do anything to upset the apple cart. He's honest, but he's lazy.

  13. I am a little confused on some of Maloney's campaign ad's in the paper and elsewhere. He says he helped administer the flood buy out program. How does a Legislator administer anything? He does not have the authority as a Legislator to administer anything. Policy only, not operations.

    Something is fishy.

  14. GO Maloney, If you've got some of the Dems criticizing you, you must be doing a great job. THese guys would't give their own mothers credit for giving birth to them if their mothers were republicans

  15. Maybe Maloney is confusing his Assessor role and his role as a legislator?

  16. Sottile is trying to rush to do same thing with Kings Inn property and former parking garage site - maybe it will be Oakwood Apartments Mid-Town and Uptown?

  17. Ask the town republicans who were out about 30 minutes ago where the sign that Mark Trott had at the end of VanKeuren highway went? It was there at 9:45 and gone at 10:15. The only thing different were the 10 or so Republican signs that went up in front of Chambers. Maloney's sign by the car lot was moved.. and Trott's sign removed.

  18. 10:35 You're really being a bit silly here, most of the Town candidates are running uncontested, and for good reason, the stink left by town and county democrats still lingers over everything Ulster. Besides Trott hasn't made a good argument for giving him a vote.
Look at it this way, anyone who is afraid to make his case to the opposition doesn't deserve consideration.
I would have loved to hear his ideas, however I have a Maloney sign in front of my house, he visited the neighbor to the left and one to the right, he actually walked right by my home, had he bothered to stop, (which would have been the wise thing to do as my vote should I switch might just be the one to put him over the top),he might have made a case, at most he would have gotten my vote at least he would have gotten my respect, but sadly I now consider him either a fool or a coward.

  19. 2:41, Nothing silly about. moving, destroying or stealing someone else's campaign signs.
Maloney has an opponent. If he is so great, and Trott is such a poor candidate, why mess with his signs? Petty, immature and bordering on being bullies if you ask me.

That's OK though, what goes around comes around.

  20. 2:41 Alleged moving of signs

  21. 8:45, Helleuva of a coincidence, but you're right, alleged.

  22. DO NOT ALLOW AARON to have any part of the Golden Hill! He is a crook and he must be stopped! Save the lives that are in there for they do not deserve to be abused by this man the way the tenants are at the Birches! He is a maniac and all the tenants fear him and run for there lives when he arrives! I am one of them...I wish I never moved here
